Bah Humbug? No way!

The countdown is upon us. With a roast turkey and Black Friday looming, we will all be shopping to meet our Chanukah and Christmas lists fast. Usually at some point mid December I try and find out where to donate Toys for Tots or some other charitable way to give a child a gift under the tree. Often I have been left scrambling for a solution. Not this year.

Here are a few local ways that you can warm a child’s heart on Christmas morning.

Donate through Princeton Human Services for local families. Contact cmendez@princeton-township-nj.us by Dec. 1^st.
Sign up through Homefront via email at homefront@homefrontnj.org. Time frame for delivery is Dec 13-Dec 17^th.
Bring an unwrapped gift for a child to the Princeton Airport by December 16^th for distribution by Mercer County Board of Social Services.

Hard times in our great country right now so dig deep. Give yourself a gift this year and drop off a toy or two for a child you don’t know; one sure way to capture the holiday spirit. And consider this, my gift to you.
